Seamus was my husbands dog for 13 years. He'd been my friend for the past 5. His ashes arrived at the house yesterday telling us all that he was really gone. Half of me expects to find him sleeping under the desk as I type, he'll wake up and give me the "Are we going for a walk yet?" look as if nothing had happened and he'd been there all along.
Seamus was more then a pet, he was a part of the family and I'll be missing him everyday. Tweet this!

Up until 5 years ago, I grew up completely pet-less. You never really understand how much a pet becomes part of your life and family until you have one. I have two cats, and imagining life without them is rather difficult.

Oh, that is so sad! What a cute doggie!! Dogs really are a huge part of our lives. They truly are our family. Fiercely loyal things too!

I really feel sorry for your loss - so might say it was 'only a dog', but I can tell he was a part of the family and a very good friend to you all -therefore my deepest condolences.

I can not express my self well enough in English to tell what a loss this is for you. I at least do know that loosing a darling pet, yeah, that's to loose a dear family member. Often harder.
