fingers iced to keyboard

The heating in my office has been broken since Monday, half of the people here are insane and thus they haven't noticed the ice forming on the inside (OK no ice yet but if feels like it). I, on the other hand, am thankful for my little heater. As my fingers are freezing and stiff I'm going to use humour to describe how I feel.

  1. It's not always the right temperature where I work; however, the only ones that complain are the inmates. Sometimes I wonder if they think they're at the Holiday Inn. I try to wear layers during the winter, just in case they crank the heat too high.

  3. Laughing at the turtle sneeze comic! I hope your office gets the heating fixed before it gets even colder.

I probably shouldn't tell you that the weather where I am is quite toasty. If I could send some of this warmth your way, I would. :-)

  4. I'm in a foreign film class in the evenings in a classroom that is like a damned icebox. For three and a half hours we sit in this room, bundled up and shivering, as we try to read the subtitles through our shaky line of sight. I know how you feel.

  7. Cute cartoons! We not allowed those lil heaters anymore because of the fire code...so it's either much to cold here or much too hot...
